Details: Willits Seniors Transportation Department is offering one free round trip ride to new riders week days September 1 through September 10, 8:30 to 12 and 1 to 3:30. They’ll deliver (seniors 55 years and older and/or disabled) door to door in Willits and Brooktrails. Shopping, doctor visits, hair appointment, visit a friend, or come to the Senior Center for lunch and some good company. Just call Willits Senior Center Transportation at 459-5556 to schedule your ride.

Details: It’s time for the annual Moat Creek surf contest fundraiser on Saturday September 11th. Registration begins at 8:30am with competition at 9 for in age divisions. There is at $30 entry fee which includes at tee shirt. This is a fundraiser to keep Moat Creek public access. Spectators are welcome. Moat Creek is located 2 miles south of Point Arena on Highway One.

Details: The Coast Classic Tennis Tournament, benefit for Habitat for Humanity of the Mendocino Coast come to the Redwood Health Club the weekend of September 18th and 19th. Events include, men's doubles - women's doubles - mixed doubles in two divisions, to be played at the Redwood Health Club and at Bainbridge Park courts. Entries are available at Redwood Health Club or by contacting Shannon Smith at shannons@mcn.org or by calling the Health Club at 964-6336. The entry deadline is September 13th. Entry Fee: $30 per player for one event or $45 per player for two events with all proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.
